Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I had a detective show up at my house and ask me to follow him to police station because I am being accused of burglarizing my aunts house. I declined to go to police station with him I had class to get to. He seemed angry about it, my mom called later and he told her he was sure that I did it. He said its a family matter and he was trying to give me a courtesy but since I declined to go he said we would have to resolve the matter in court. Should I go to police station to talk to him tomorrow?

DO NOT DO ANYTHING WITHOUT A LAWYER!!! The police are permitted to lie to you. If you say anything, it can and likely will be used against you. If you confess and they prosecute you, defending the case will be tough. If you lawyer up, you may not even be charged. If you are charged, your lawyer will have a ton of options to try to get the case dismissed. Call me at 1-855-9-JEFLAW to discuss.
