Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

please help! domestic violence

how can someone with warrants out for there arrest (for unpaid tickets etc and not going to court) file a restraing order or do something to protect herself and her two children from her very abusive and dangerous husband without going to jail or getting herself into trouble. they barely have enough money to pay bills or for food especially to pay for tickets or bail is she does go to jail. please help thank you

You have to decide which scares you more, the dangerous person or the possibility of sitting in jail.

If your warrants are all in the same court you can write a letter to the judge explaining your situation and your plans to surrender on the warrants and fax the letter to the court to save time.
