Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

fourth amendment violation/fifth amendment violation

i was arrested and charged 9/26/2006 with a weapons offense 10/16/2008 i was released and the charges was dismissed, U.S. attorney cites (not in the intrest of the USA to proceed with case no explanation as to what the reason was,the case was state then was federal what can i do?

You have to remember that when this country was founded it had just lived under a king. The prosecutor has discretion like a king; it can dismss a case without giving a reason. Usually the reason given in your case means that the proofs are

a bit light.
