Re: Harassment

As with all legal matters of this type, you should consult with an attorney.

You did not indicate any facts about the harassment allegations and whether you had a prior record of any type, etc. A lawyer would ask you about these and other issues to determine the best way to proceed (including possible diversionary treatment).

If you care to contact us to meet with one of our attorneys give us a call and we will arrange for a consult.

Since I'm sure you don't want a criminal record, you need a good lawyer. I practice in that area and would like to discuss the situation with you further to get the specifics. My initial consultations are always free, so call me at 732/247/3340. You can call me over the weekend or at any time.

Re: Harassment

Without knowing any more of the story that led to this charge I cannot give you full advice as to what may happen in court. In general though the charge against you is called a Petty Disorderly Persons Offense, and carries a maximum $500 fine and up to 30 days in jail. I would never receommend that a person go to court without at least consulting with a lawyer before the court date. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts in New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me at your convenience. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
