Re: my husband molested my daughter

In New Jersey the statute of limitations for filing a civil suit for sexual abuse is two years from the date of the assault. In the case of a minor, it is two years from the date of the minor's 18th birthday, when she become twenty. There is one exception, two years from when a person realizes that they were injured as a result of the assault. I am also one of two members in the State of New Jersey in the American Trial Lawyer Associations child sexual abuse litigation group. Our members share experts, depositions and other discovery and educational information regarding sexual abuse cases. I would be glad to discuss this matter with you in more detail. Please feel free to contact me.
