Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

multiple charges

long story short i pleaded guilty in sept 08 to possession, possession with intent to distribute and child endangerment. it is a first offense. all charges are 3rd degree except the child endangerment with is 2nd degree but im being sentenced as 3rd degree. facing sentencing in about 2 months and im told i either have to cooperate and snitch or i have to do 3yrs jail. please help i have no idea what i should do.

You have an attorney and he or she should be advising you. I suggest you call him or her and discuss this with them.

Surely you must have been represented by a lawyer on this case, so I would advise you to speak with him or her about what you should do. However, in general, I would advise a client to cooperate with the police if it would lead to a reduction in his sentence.
