There are two kinds of disorderly persons offense, disorderly and petty disorderly persons offenses. The first has a maximum fine of $1,000 and the second has a maximum fine of $500.

In addition to a possible fine, upon conviction, a defendant must also pay certain assessments which, including court cost, can total nearly $200.00.

I wouldn't worry about the fines because the criminal record you will have may cost you a lot more over the course of your life. Call a lawyer ASAP if you are charged.
