Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

physical obstruction

Police responded to noise compliant at my friends house which I decided to go outside and talk with them(I was the only one). I asked them what was going on and what was going to happen to my friend several times when I decided to walk back towards to house. Then I was thrown to the ground and handcuffed. I was arrested for obstructing administration of law by physically interfering. Was I wrong to go out and ask questions to the officers and what law is that?

No, but I'm sure the cops have another story and I'm not at all calling you a liar; its just the system. I strongly suggest you get a good lawyer ASAP to handle this case. In fact, I am sure the judge will force you to get an attorney at some point.
