Re: Possession of CDS conviction.

Without seeing the records it is difficult to impossible to answer this question because there are a few variables. Generally, however, a conviction for possession of Cocaine is a felony.

Did you know that, as long as your charges did not involve sale or intent to distribute, that you can have this matter totally cleared from your record by expungement and you would be able to say you were never convicted? Feel free to read more at my website: www.expungemynjrecord.com.

Also, feel free to contact me for a free consult - I can help determine whether you were convicted of a felony or not and give you further information on expunging the matter.

Thank you,

Re: Possession of CDS conviction.

If the conviction was in Suprior Court it was a felony conviction. Ten years after the conviction of a felony and after the payment of fine and the satisfaction of the term of probation or imprisonment and parole and assuming that you have no other criminal convictions since you are eligible or will be eligible to file for the expungement of the record of the expungement in Superior Court.
