Re: possession of marijuana

If it is a small amount of marijuana and his first drug charge first offender treatment is available. If it is a large amount of marijuana the situation is somewhat different.

Call me if you like.

Re: possession of marijuana

The maximum penalties for a first time possession of marijuana of under 50 grams are a $1,000.00 fine plus hundreds of dollars more in varioius mandatory drug offense fees, six months in jail, and up to 2 years loss of driving priveleges. However, most people on a first offense do not get the maximum penalties. If you hire an attorney who is familiar with criminal law they may even be able to get the charge dismissed in one way or another. I am an attorney who has handled many cases similar to yours in various courts throughout New Jersey in the past. I would like to discuss your case with you in more detail. Please contact me about this. I never charge for simply talking to a person about their case. Thank you.

Sincerely yours, -Ronald Aronds, Esq.-
