sex tape blackmail?

I have an exboyfriend that is threatening to make a sex tape we made 2-3 years ago public if I do not agree to meet up with him. I am 21 and I would like to do whatever it takes to avoid this from happening. Is this blackmail? I do not want to meet up with him to get the tape back, because now I'm scared. What can I do?

Contact the District Attorney's office in the county in which you live. Ask for their victim advocate. Provide that person with the information you have posted here. File a formal criminal complaint if they agree; you must agree to testify if required, and keep your word.
