Suicide Attempt, a Probation Violation

If someone is on deferred disposition, does a suicide attempt violate that?

Interesting question. I don't see it since, although suicide is illegal in some jurisdictions, its not really a crime in NJ as far as I know. Regardless, a suicide attempt is a time to help someone not punish them. SO I can't see anyone doing anything about your DD.

I do not believe that attempted suicide is still a criminal offense. It is a criminal offense to aid another in trying to kill him or herself.
