Legal Question in Criminal Law in New Jersey

I will be flying out of NY to Italy in May and have a warrant out for missing a court date for a traffic ticket. I know I need to take care of this ASAP, but I am living paycheck to paycheck. (The trip was paid for by a family friend). I missed court because I am an idiot, but I really would like to know if this will give me problems at the airport as I would really like to avoid the humiliation and would like to be able to take this trip.
