Legal Question in Discrimination Law in New Jersey

I'm being threatened by an ex-friend that she is going to calls the cops and tell them I'm dealing drugs out of my home. She says they will come blow my door down. Lets just say this happens and there is no evidence what so ever this this statement....my biggest concern is my job...I work for the post office...this is totally untrue...she just wants to make me suffer. If this were to happen can I then sue her for defamation of character????

Stop worrying! The police cannot just simply come to your home and conduct a search for illegal drugs based solely on her statement. They will need a search warrant issued by a judge based on probable cause (their sworn statement) and her statement to the policy. She could be charged and arrested for knowingly making a false statement to the police.
