Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

can a 39:3-40 be reduced to a 39:3-10?

also how much can the court fine you for a 39:3-10? got this sentence reduced by court with a $580 fine saving additional dmv surcharges and suspensions for a 39:3-40. however there is another 39:3-40 in a different court so looking for the best advice if a similar deal can be cut over there also. i considering hire a lawyer who can best answer this question straight forward without any BS.

Each case is unique and I cannot give a definite answer until I see why you were suspended. If it is a DWI suspension then no, you cannot get it reduced to a 39:3-10. If it is for some other reason, there is a possiblity that it can be reduced to a 39:3-10 if it can be shown that you were not given proper notice of your suspension. Regarding the fine, it is usually less than $200.00 on a 39:3-10, but there is a DMV surcharge associated with it as well. Please call me to discuss what I can do to help you. I never charge for just talking to a person about their case. Thank you.
