Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

I was arrested for a DUI back in March 2014 .. It was my fault and I take full responsibility for my actions .. It was a terrible mistake that I made and I one that I never make but was punished for doing it this one time .. My BAC was high (.20) and I didn't get into an accident or anything but was pulled over by a state trooper and arrested .. I'm a mature hard working citizen and this really set me back but I made my way through it .. I went to the IDRC and they sent me for a counselors assessment which I had to find and pay for .. I went to the counselor for the assessment and everything went okay .. He said that I've held a job my whole life, I seem happy etc but at the end said that I must attend extended counseling only because of my high BAC .. I looked around and know that this guy doesn't get many "patients" so I guarantee he just needs the money .. Is there anything I can do to get out of this? .. What if I didn't do it can I still get my license possibly? .. Can I go take another assessment? Or at least find another counselor to attend the classes because I'm NOT paying this guy .. Thank you for any answers
