Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

''Expunge DWI convictions from driving abstract''

I have two DWI convictions 1987/1990, all surcharges, fines and suspensions have been satisfied as of 1993. Please inform me (if possible) how to expunge the convictions from my driving abstract/record and provide any additional information/insight that is pertinent, to verify and achieve this effect? Thanks for your time and professional input!

Expunge DWI convictions from driving abstract

Despite the seriousness of its consequences, New Jersey classifies DWI as a motor vehicle offense. New Jersey law makes no provision for expungement of motor vehicle offenses. Accordingly, in answer to your question, there is no presently existing mechanism whereby you can expunge your DWI conviction in New Jersey.

Sorry.
