Legal Question in DUI Law in New Jersey

Traffic stop

Do the police in NJ need probable cause to make a motor vehicle stop? Can they just pull you over ''just because''?

Thank you

They can, but they are not supposed to, according to the Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution.
