Legal Question in Entertainment Law in New Jersey

Press Releases

About a year ago I was involved in a film company. I wrote all the scripts, directed and edited all the work. Everyone involved, including myself, signed releases. There had been a falling-out with the other person in the company. Now they are posting all of my work as theirs. Is there anything I can do about this?

Re: Press Releases

That all depends on what exactly the release you state you signed provides. You may have assigned all your artistic rights to the film company. A thorough read of the release will better explain what recourse, if any, you may have against the company.
