Adultery Grounds for Divorce

If a person sues another for Adultery and names a co-respondant is the co-respondant personally liable for the divorce? Can the co-respondant be sued also? What would be the motive for naming a co-respondant besides alimony or child support?

Adultery is just a cause of action for divorce. It has no real bearing on the other issues you mentioned, alimony and child support. The person alleging alimony is obligated to notify the co-respondent of the pending action.
