Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I own a three bedroom ranch. My fiancé moved in and we bought bed and bureau for his 13 year old daughter for when she sleeps over every other weekend . We put her in the larger room with my 19 year old daughter. The girls get along great and other than when my daughter comes home from college for the holidays or to work, the bedroom is occupied by her alone. Now the Mom is threatening taking away all overnight visitation because she says her daughter by law must have a private bedroom and her own TV in it. Is this true? Is this a law that she must have her own room? I'm a widow on a fixed income. I can't provide a room that I do not have.

I would need some additional info, but at first glance there is no requirement like that written into the law in New Jersey. However, the custody agreement may have some language which may control the circumstances. If you want to talk this out, or if you need to go to Court to get things straight, feel free to write me back and I can set up a time for us to discuss this in some detail. My email is [email protected]
