Court Order for legal fees

I was awarded $2,500 for legal fees regarding a family court custody and child support post judgement. The judge issued an order for my x spouse to pay within 30 days and it has now been over 3 years that she has not paid. What enforcement action can I take in order to secure a lien on her property etc.....

You need to consult with an attorney to provide more specifics about your case. For example, your attorney would need to review the actual Order awarding attorneys' fees, and possibly other parts of the existing court file as well.

In general, there are a number of ways to collect on a debt. These can include garnishment of wages; garnishment of bank accounts or other assets; filing of liens on real property; etc.

Your attorney will be able to assist you in deciding which option or options is best for you.
