Default hearing

I have been advised to appear in court for default hearing pending my divorce. the divorce was uncontestant.

Where there are marital assets or debts to be distributed the court rules require that the nonresponsive party be notified of the plaintiff's intentions as to the terms of the divorce judgment as to said assets or debts. Maybe you should pay more attention to the action for divorce.

You must appear and explain why you failed to answer the complaint.

It might be wise to bring an attorney with you.
