Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Me and my girlfriend live together and have a 5 year old daughter. We are breaking up. We have a family reunion planned the end of September to DisneyWorld. There are about 20 of us. The trip is already paid for. Can I still take my daughter without her mother, What do I have to do, to be able to take her. The reunion is my side of the family

You do not have much time, but you could apply to the Court for an Order requiring that the child go on the trip.

You should be able to take her, but you wil need a written documentation from the mother allowing you to take her out of state. If she is unwilling, you need to go to court and get an order allowing the trip.

In order to take her you either need a consent signed by the mother or an order of the court.
