Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

I granted my mother temporary custody of my child because I would be out of state for a short time and wanted my child protected in the event of an emergency. I am now back home in my mothers house with my child but neglected to reverse the temp order I put in place. My mother just stole $4,000.00 from my personal bank account and refusing to let me in the house and give me my child. What actions can I take and is this kidnapping?

That is horrible. This is your mother, and she did this? Please, come see me and I will help straighten this out.

Is it kidnapping? I need to know more. Probably not. But this is bizarre and wrong.

There is a lot at risk here, and you do not want to lose all of that.

You need a lawyer to sit down with you and give you some advice.

I can explain things in detail in person after we talk. I will explain what legal issues I see, and what I can do to assist you.

This will be a free consultation. After we talk, you can decide what you would like to do.
