Marriage Laws and the mentally retarded
I am embarrased to say that I discovered after divorce proceedings that my ex is legally retarded. Was our marriage even valid in the state of nj? Just curious as to whether this type of marriage was evenlegal and binding?? Please provide guidance or relevant case study information.

A mentally retarded person can legally marry.
