Medical insurance - Is it alimony?
If I pay for my to be ex-wife's medical insurance for a defined period of time as part of a divorce agreement will those payments be considered alimony, and therefore tax-deductible and deductible from my gross income when determining child support obligations?

maybe. it will depend on how the final judgment of divorce, or property settlement agreement, is drafted. you should ask your attorney if you are represented by one... or feel free to call me at 609 263-0089 if you need a lawyer for your divorce. good luck !
