Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

Moving out of state with children

I am petitioning the court to move out of state with my 4 children. I have recently divorced. My ex has just begun paying child support (he is 5,000 in arrears) my house is up for sherrif sale and I am financially unable to support myself and my children. I am planning on remarrying and want to relocate from NJ to ME. Based on my ex's negligence and past history of violence towards me what are my chances of this becoming a reality. We basically have nowhere to live and will become homeless if we are not allowed to move in with my fiancee. My children are ages 2, 3, 4, and 9.

I would think that your situation makes your moving a necessity and the court would recognize same. If you are seeking an attorney you can call my office to schedule an appointment.
