I received a summons, complaint for divorce. I need to respond. I was told by court house I need to file general appearance or answer to counterclaim. I need to obtain these forms.
You can not practice law the way that you would fill lin a coloring by the numbers. Hire any attorney. Any attorney will be better than you acting as your own attorney
Although general forms are available at a library, I would suggest consulting with an attorney. It is often free or low cost ( my office gives initial divorce consults for $50.00 ) and it will help you narrow the issues you will face and give you advice about the divorce process.
Then if you choose to use the lawyer, that consult is often the basis of action.
