Legal Question in Family Law in New Jersey

My wife took my daughter to Egypt 2 months ago. She went to the court in Cairo and she asked for divorce and custody over there and I am sure she is going got them.

I went to the family court here in New Jersey ( the home state of my daughter) where my daughter was born 2 years ago and I filled a custody/visitation petition and we trying to serve her with the papers in Egypt.

Do I have to hire a lawyer in Egypt or not? Some people told me I can and I should, and some people told me if I hired a lawyer in Egypt maybe I will lose my case her in NJ because of the jurisdiction thing

My question: is good for me to hire a lawyer in Egypt or not and why?

PLEASE AN ANSWER WITH MORE DETAILS

THANK YOU

I would speak to a trained family lawyer in NJ (Where in NJ are you) and bioth an immigration lawyer here who does family law and is familiar with Egypt.....If you simply hire or consult a lawyer in Egypt you won;t automatically lose your NJ Jurisdiction, but I would make a move in nJ Courts to solidify your position here--if your daughter IS here already--there is a lot I don't know
