What happens if I have agreed to a settlement in a law suit and the defendant doesn't pay what he agreed to pay? The settlement was recorded with the court in New Jersey..

A well drafted settlement usually provides for payment of the full amount plus attorney if the other party defaults. If your settlement doesn't have that, you are probably limited to applying to the court to set aside the settlement and reistate the case.
