Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

Hi i booked a wedding venue for may 2015 back in july of 2013. 2hrs after signing the contract, the wedding venue called tobsay they under charged us for a holiday wknd and wanted to inform us that they will not be honoring our contract unless we agreed to an increase. We disagreed and demanded our $4000 depost back and it has been over 6mos with no response from them.. am i entitled to my deposit especially if they sold our date
