Legal Question in Civil Litigation in New Jersey

I had a case settled in august 2008

As of today my lawyer has still not pd 1 of the doctors $1800.00

I have brought this to his attention numerous times without any results

The bill says I'm responsible to pay, but the settlement clearly shows the Dr is owed the money

Is it possible to sue my lawyer for the remander of the bill or I'm I responbsible?

Thanks Jeff

If your lawyer held the money and it shows on your sched, of dist., he is obligated to pay it on your behalf. It is also ethically improper to promise to pay and not as a lawyer after holding the money
