what is the statute of limitations with regard to a civil lawsuit rsulting from an illegal arrest

A complaint must be filed with the court within two years following the dismissal or the charge or a verdict of acquittal. If one is not yet eighteen when the case is dismissed the two years begin when the person arrested becomes 18 years of age.
