I am a 30 year old Canadian citizen, working on TN-1 under NAFTA treaty. My parents are Green Card holder and will be citizen soon. Can I apply for GC through parents without jeopardizing my job status.

There will be a very long/several years long wait time for the priority date on their petition to become current. You can apply for a Green Card only when a priority date is current.

Generally speaking, a TN visa holder can't have an immigrant intent because it's a temporary work visa.
