Re: Immigration information

Please keep in mind that the process of filing for your spouse is not just a matter of form-filling. Proper evaluation of your case by a good immigration attorney will help you know what should be filed and what obstacles you may potentially run into.

Without a proper consultation I would advise you not to simply go on what forms someone says you should file (be cautious of free advice). For example, you did not indicate whether the foreign spouse was in the US or outside? That information alone requires two different procedures. If you would like to speak to me feel free to give me a call or email me and we'll set up a proper consultation so you are familiar with what is required (whether you decide to file the paperwork yourself or go through an attorney).

Re: Immigration information

There are many different forms and procedures that you will need to be aware of prior to filing your marriage case. Additionally, there are certain issues that you may have to deal with if you were previously on a J-1 visa or are still in J status. I recommend that you contact an attorney to assist you with the process, and to determine your eligibilty.

You can feel free to contact my office.
