Legal Question in Immigration Law in New Jersey

Updating I94 number:

I have not visited my country in 7-8 years, since I arrived on student visa(2007) and now I am on H1B visa(Present) I have never visited my country. My parents went to get visitor visa and they got rejection stating that "Your son has not visited you why you want to go and meet him ?"

Question:

1.) Is there any chance that my status is not updated with USCIS ?

2.) How can I help my parents visiting USA ?

Appreciate your help.

That's a pretty awful thing for the consular officer to say to your parents and I'm sorry that happened. I'm also not sure as to the relevance of the question. With that said I'm curious as to what other questions the consular officer may have had for your parents. That may help clarify the thought process of the officer and in turn may help determine what the next course of action is for your parents to take.
