State disability insurance availability to public school employees

Is NJ state disbaility insurance available to public school employees or public school districts?

If you are a public school employee, check with your union representative to determine what benefits you may be entitled to. The Human Resources Department may be able to provide you with additional information as to whether you are entitled to either public or perhaps privately-insured disability benefits.
