Legal Question in Employment Law in New Jersey

I have been working at a board of education for about 5 years I got a contract with this board about 4 years ago with the board they give you 12 sick days a year 3 personal a year 3 family ill I have used me sick days in the pass and have brought in doctor notes thinking that they where excused absents I had to go in front of the board about the absents there is nothing in are contract to say the number of days they will let you take with out it beeing a issue there are otheres that uses up all there days there are somme that gose on vacation and there is nothing wrong with themnow for me and nother co-worker they had a problem with the days we took in fact we had are wages frozzen for this year, we won't go up a step, if there is a pay raise we don't get any, and if we need to take a day for beeing sick we won't be allowed to or we might loose are job I want to know if this is legale and is there anything we can do we don't have a union we have it like there is one we take the same stepes as if there was a union Please let me know what I should do and if ther is any thing I could do.

You don't have a union? You need an attorney to review the contact that you entered into. The contract that you entered into with the BOE is the document which explains all of your rights and obligations. You need to know and understand it inside out.
