Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

Definition of 30-day notice

Is there a legal definition of a 30-day notice (provided that it is not defined in the lease agreement beyond ''30-day notice'') Would an argument of a 30-day notice meaning ''30 calendar days'' be valid in court or does it have to be one full month (even if that month has 28 or 31 calendar days in it)

Also, does it have be 30 days from the day after the notice was mailed OR the day it was received by a landlorrd?

Re: Definition of 30-day notice

Thirty days notice means receipt of written notice

thirty days before an even. Notice of the termination of a lease would have to be give thirty

days before the actually date of termination. You may call me to discuss the matter furtherr.

Call me if you like.
