Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

Landlord cited in NJ for illegal single room occupancy

Our landlord has been cited by our town & NJ state for renting illegaly single rooms on the 3rd Fl & 2nd Fl with separate leases! making illegal for us to live here now.

We're taking him to the town's court for breaking an entrance ( our rooms locks ) and harassment for taking away all the things we're paying for like cable TV, Cable Computer, Laundry services. Because living room and kitchen is share by everyone and a common area he has taken away the refrigerators and stove out. He's trying to evict us illegally!!! He has taken the window's handles so we can't open them and cramp up the heater which he took off the knobs too. I'm calling the health department on this issue but what else can we do?

Police dpt. won't help, they're been bias against us because he's an exfirefighter in town who was force to resign for good reasons.

We're filing suit in the Landlord/tenant court soon, we know about Miah v. Ahmed law, and we are using that and all the pics and stuff he has done so far.

What else can we do? who else can we call? it's like been a prisioner in your own home
