Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in New Jersey

my landlord as of today has filed for me to be evicted. He told me that noone who is not on the lease is allowed over or over night and will be police escourted. There is nothing on my lease about guests, so does he have the right to escourt them off of his property or am i allowed to have one guests spend the night? We dont get loud disturb the nieghboors, nothing. I have medical issues and just need her to help with errands and my autistic son since I haven't been feeling well.

You have a mean landlord. As long as you are up to date with your rent and living in peace he does not have a case. In fact, you my want to long into whether he want to evict you because of your autistic son. If such is the case, then you can file a counterclaim against him or file a complaint with the NJ Atty' Genl's Office of Civil Rights.
