NON Lease apartment
I had an apartment with an ex friend. There was NO lease. I moved due to his late rent payments. He choose to stay. Do I have to give my landlord 2 months rent?(30 days notice)

What? 1) You are required to have a lease. 2) if someone is still there, then any agreement is not being terminated, but 3) if he knows you and where you work , was your "lease" in both your names? If so, you'd better give him WRITTEN notice you are abandoning the lease. Any non-written lease should be construed as a month-to-month lease, requiring 30 days notice.
