being sued by ex landlord for 30,000.00 back rent for a residential dwelling. never was evicted had to moved do to the condition of the premises, no longer habitable and landlord failed to maintain. paid rent in cash due to the verbal agreement of rent being cheaper if paid cash and do not have receipts. theres no singed lease agreement and no Co on the property. have a phone mediation today. do i have a chance of winning without representation?
All things are possible, but with $30,000.00 at stake better safe than sorry.
