Legal Question in Mediation in New Jersey

Mediator

Do you have to have a mediator before a court case? I was assigned one by the Superior Court pursuant to R.1:40-4(a) and I want to know if I have to use one or not? THANK YOU

the court rules require it. There is a way around it, however, it really does not pay to remove yourself from arbitration. You should talk to your attorney about this. If you are not getting answers that you trust from your, then you have bigger problems.
