Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in New Jersey

just wondering......

i was looking any thing that will tell me about the staute of limitations in new jersey.it wouuld be pertianing to filing a lawsuit against a doctor and i am not sure how long have to file. any feed back would be wonderful.p.s. adult medical.thx

Your message is a bit unclear, but I think you are asking the statue of limitations applicable to a medical malpractice case in New Jersey. If that is what you're asking, the answer is 2 years from the date you knew, or should have known, that malpractice occurred.

The analysis can become complex in cases where there was no way you could know about the malpractice until a later date.
