Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

Assault inside casino pub

while I was employed doing freelance entertainment inside a casino restaurant/pub, I was attacked/assaulted by 3 people. The restaurant did nothing to help out, the bouncers let the attackers out the back door, and manager begged me to NOT call 911 and get police involved. I have eye-witnesses to the attack and to the bouncers letting the attackers leave. I had to be hospitalized - I was left with many stitches and brusing to my head neck and shoulders and continue to have vision problems almost a year later. What are my legal options in this matter?

Dear Sir:

You write a very sad story, one this is disturbing to hear.

The casino may very well be liable to you for their lack of security. I would, of course, need to hear more to give you better answers.

I have been a practicing trial attorney for 10 years in Philadelphia, New Jersey (Atlantic County too) and Florida.

Please feel free to call me at 2158509400 if you'd like to talk about this more.

Best of luck.

Len

Re: Assault inside casino pub

There are a number of potential causes of action against the bar. There may be claims for lack of security, lack of protection or their post attack failure to obtain the identity of the assailants or detain them. All of which are potnetial theories to pursue amongst others. Of course, there needs to be adequate investigation to determine if there is a claim.

I strongly suggest that you contact a Certified Civil Trial Attorney to discuss this matter. I would be happy to discuss this case with you if you wish.

I can be reached at 800-34 NJ LAW.

It sounds like you may have grounds to bring a lawsuit against the casino/pub (which I am assuming is located in New Jersey). However a lot more information is needed to make a full assessment. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience to discuss this further and explore all of your options.
