Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

My husband's finger was severed while an inmate on a work detail for the nj doc. While it has been surgically reattached,there is lingering numbness and loss of ability to bend, not to mention the anxiety of the entire incident. I am looking for an attorney to represent him. The lawyers I have spoken to do not handle such cases. How can I find one???
