Legal Question in Personal Injury in New Jersey

Loss of Consortium deposition

Hello. I have a separate claim for Loss of Concortium against a party that is repsonsibile for my husbands injuries in a car accident. Will there be a deposition in these types of suits. Thank you

Really the question is best posed to your attorney. However, normally it is up to the defendant if they wish to take your deposition, they do have a right. Often they do not bother, it mainly depends on whether they perceive that your claim has any significance or whether you may have information about your spouse's claim.
