If your wife is a landlord in the sense of being named on the lease or being a general partner of a partnership entity that is named on the lease, she can proceed as a representative of the landlord. If you are an individual landlord or if the landlord is an LLC or a corporation, she cannot. You will have to be represented by a lawyer.
